The OTAC is designed for medical and nurse practitioners in NSW to assist in the development of knowledge, skills and practices to support the safe prescribing of opioid pharmacotherapies. To be eligible to attend this session you MUST have completed the Fundamental Training short-course prior to attending the webinar on the day. Visit www.otac.org.au and login or register for an account to get started.

Why do the OTAC? Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress towards accreditation to prescribe pharmacotherapies for the treatment of opioid dependence in NSW. For prescribers, this allows you to prescribe for up to 200 patients on either methadone or buprenorphine pharmacotherapies to treat opioid dependence.
